What are you going to do?
I’ve spoken with a lot of homeowners at Greenbrook and there is one unifying and very gratifying attribute that I can ascribe to virtually all of you. They complain about policy and reality but not about personalities. They may not like the association’s approaches, its fines, its landscaping, its lackadaisical approach to managing our finances, but they never ever stoop to name calling or personal attacks as many other people might.
Good for you all and thanks for maintaining your composure and dignity at a time when those things are in short supply on the other side.
The essence of true political leadership, I believe, is in putting in the hard work of planning and strategizing so that you can present a coherent approach to governing, regardless of the subject. That’s the next step in the Greenbrook Perspectives march to retake control of our budget and our governance.
Now that we have your attention and so many Greenbrook homeowners have joined our Substack community, we’re going to shift gears to give you specifics on things like how the board will operate in the future, how to effectively reach out to homeowners, the slate of homeowners we will nominate to take over this administration, and a lot more.
